Details:
British Sugar New Energy Project involved the Insulation and cladding of Evaporators & large diameter Pipework. The Evaporators were insulated with 120mm thick mineral wool slab finished with Plastisol profile sheet. To gain frequent access to the tops and bottoms of the Evaporators removable insulated covers were designed fabricated and fitted. The pipework was insulated with 50mm thick Mineral wool finished with Plastisol sheet. Flanges and Valves were fitted with removable insulated jackets.

Details:
This Plant Refurbishment was completed in 2009 and involved the Insulation to 6 chilled water Vessels & associated Pipework. The vessels where insulated with a closed cell insulation, vapour sealed and finished with 2 layers of GRP. The pipework was insulated with P.I.U. sections with all joints sealed with a flexible sealant, vapour sealed and clad with Plastisol sheeting secured with stainless steel banding.

Consolidated Insulation Services carried out the insulation and cladding of the new grinding mill on this CEMEX plant, the only one in the south east of England, has a capacity for 1.2m tonnes a year and will boost CEMEX UK's total capacity by 20%. The £49m investment includes the UK's first vertical grinding mill, which uses 42% of the energy used by the mill it replaces. It's also 23% more energy efficient than CEMEX’s most modern previous mill.

This project involved the insulation of all mechanical, ventilation and plumbing services for the New F.A. Offices within Wembley. We were also required to supply and install trace heating to various services. This project was a completed on time and within budget.

Details:
This project involved the Insulation and cladding of 4 No. 2300m3 Heavy Fuel Oil storage Tanks. We insulated the Tank shells using medium density mineral wool slab finished with profiled sheeting secured with aluminium bands and expansion sets. The roof was insulated using Heavy density mineral wool slab (to withstand foot traffic) finished with a cone, prefabricated in our workshop in the UK. This project also required the procurement and shipping of all materials from the mainland. We have secured the contract to insulate.

Details:
The re-cladding of the cooling plants was carried out as part of a site refurbishment project; all of the existing cladding was removed and replaced along with any damaged insulation. This was a project that required a high level of regard to Health & Safety as all the work was carried out whilst the plant was still running with surface temperatures of the plant exceeding 400 deg C in some places.
